ShiftyBits, LLC has been awarded a competitive research contract with the National Cancer Institute to develop image processing and machine learning algorithms to automatically analyze breast histology images. Along with NCI researchers, we will be focusing on analyzing the terminal duct lobular units (TDLUs), the functional units of the breast in which most breast cancers arise. These analyzations will contribute to developing standardized measurements of the TDLUs that will aide researchers in detecting breast cancer. We are very excited to be working in NCI and being able to contribute to cancer research.

Is your physician or family doctor checking the prescription? Is your pharmacist validating the pills? Are you checking your own medications? ID My Pill is an iPhone app that allows you to snap a photo of any prescription drug using your built-in iPhone camera and identify it immediately.
Chic Engine is a visual fashion search engine that allows you to search using images rather than keywords. Users can utilize our search engine to find pieces of clothing that appeals to them personally by providing an example image of the clothing (or fabric) they are interested in. Other search engines on the web do not yet have a visual search component. Chic Engine is aiming to be the first successful visual search engine online focusing in the fashion area.
